Chosen for their trustworthiness, Guardians use Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to securely sign proposals, ensuring network security and seamless interoperability. They validate transactions and safeguard cross-chain interactions between Bitcoin and Solana, upholding the integrity of and .

Guardian Types

To accommodate diverse Bitcoin liquidity providers, ZeusNode offers two distinct Guardian programs:

  • Guardians: Only reputable entities can become Guardians to secure the network. This type of Guardian is open to anyone ready to delegate $ZEUS and actively contribute to network security.

  • Institutional Guardians: Tailored for large-scale $BTC liquidity providers, allowing them to establish private Guardians for enhanced asset management on Solana. Not available for delegation by $ZEUS holders.
